AIP-Paleo 'Cheez-Its'

Ever been guilty of eating your weight in the originals of these? Yeah, me too. Try their paleo cousin for a guilt-reduced (natural) flavor-packed alternative! Seasoning amounts below are adjustable based on preference.
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Mix dry (first 6) ingredients together.
  3. Mix in fat into mixture until well-incorporated. Add water bit by bit until dough comes together and you can form it into a flat disc (make sure it's not too wet or it'll be difficult to work with).
  4. Roll out dough between two (tapioca/arrowroot) floured pieces of parchment paper to about 1 mm thickness, then cut out cracker shapes as desired and place on baking sheet.
  5. Bake on parchment-lined baking tray for 15-20 minutes, until crackers are stiff (these shouldn't be too brown, they get overdone quickly - keep a close eye on them, cooking time varies by oven).
